Salisbury shed in 1967 after the end of steam, bits of the LSWR main line, and the remainder S&D archive footage:

First clip appears to be 48706 on the SLS special on 6th March 1966 but I will be happy to be corrected!

The first clip would almost certainly have been a timetabled working during the last weeks of the S&D. The SLS working (as I recall) was 8F + 4MT tank.

You're quite right - on looking at the clip again there's only three coaches on the train :)

We all make mistakes - as the hedgehog said to the scrubbing brush ......
