If you've noticed slow speeds on the forum of late then this is why. I seem to be attracting all the nutters out there who are busy trying to attack the site with various tools. Not doing my bandwidth any good this month, that's for sure!
Unfortunately the attacks can also cause pages on the main part of the site to load slowly as well. This is because of the little bit of code that shows the latest posts in the forum on the right hand menu.
So please, if you find things a bit slow, just wait a few seconds and it will load. In the meantime I'm banning IP numbers as fast as I can find them, but with my workload the way it is at the moment this is a slow process too!
