No offence to Severn Beach, but I can't believe it made number nine in the Bristol Railway Archive Top-Ten!

Because they were hoping to see the avenues of palm trees leading down to the turqoise sea in the backgound? :lol:

Maybe not but Severn beach WAS a top spot in its day. It is amazing to see the differences, there are quite a few pictures on Friths web site.
Special trains to Severn beach were once a regular occurence.
