Wessex Trains are running a Santa special to Severn Beach on 17th December. The train leaves Temple Meads at 15.01 and the trip promises carol singers, mince pies, chocolates, goodie bags and of course, Santa himself.

If you don't fancy going to Severn Beach, the whole thing takes place earlier in the day on the 08.42 Bristol-Weymouth.
Wessex have produced a lovely poster for the event. This is a .pdf though:

Of course, in our house we call him Father Christmas, but nevermind!

Poster of the Weymouth trip aviable here.
Has anyone travelled on one of these trains (I mean the Santa Specials not Severn Beach or Weymouth!) I'm thinking of taking my young family on one of these on Saturday - can anyone recommend it (or otherwise!)

Hummm... it seem's the Weymouth trip might be more "humbug" than Santa!

MikeIt's fun for all the family so why not board the 0842 special Santa train from Bristol Temple Meads on Saturday 17 December and travel to Weymouth with Santa and his helpers who will of course be baring gifts.
