On a normal day they go through TM at about half twelve. There's been no reports of them leaving Bridgwater yet though.

Hmm...I wish Bridgwater was one stop to the south instead of the north

Without wishing anyone to compromise national security in any way, do the nuke expresses run on a regular basis; e.g. every Wednesday? I haven't yet managed to see one at all, let alone with 20s. I'd be glad to phot one with any motive power.

Regards

For ages they ran every Tuesday and Thursday, going through TM at about 12.30-13.00 but currently they're running every Wednesday.

It's more common to see a 37 and a 20 in partnership, which makes a lovely sound when the driver gives the throttle a 'blip', rather than the 2X20s that ran yesterday.

Sometimes of course you get 2X37s. Listening to the driver letting rip up Filton Bank is fantastic!

Many thanks, madhattie.

With the coming Saturday meet in December and some steam specials coming to Bristol late November and early December; a Freedom of South West Rover looks to be in order at about that time and cover items like Bridgwater nukes.

Best wishes
