This tour is in danger of cancellation! Book now if you want to see it go ahead!

From SWRG:

Subject: Growling Grockle Railtour (no-gen)

Gentlemen

No doubt you are all aware of pathfinders growling grockle tour to
penzance, falmouth and barnstaple featuring double headed class 37s
on October 22nd.

I have spoken to pathfinder via mr weasel tonight and the story is
that 20 more seats must be filled or the tour will be cancelled. Can
i urge any of you thinking of going or even photting it to buy a seat
by tommorrow, thursday. Even if you can arrange a part fare with them.

I myself, mr weasel and poss a few other SWRGites are already booked
on it.

Dont forget that this is a pair of 37s, over the devon and sommerset
banks in the still of night! tipped to be 417 and 427 a monsterous
combo if there ever was!

I want to see and ride these beasts one more time on home soil, so
call pathfinder now -

01453 835414 or 01453 834477

office@...

PLEASE ALSO POST THIS TO OTHER GEN GROUPS SO WE CAN KEEP IT GOING

I hope it doesn't get cancelled, but I don't quite understand how running a tour in the middle of the night is supposed to sell tickets!

But still, imagine no more 37s... horrible thought...

Yeah, it's a ridiculous tour really. Far too long, most of it in the dark, massive distances, huge price...I'm surprised they only need 20 seats!

Better drum up some support over the next few months for the re-dated trip to make sure it happens. For me this involves service train to Bristol, maybe York, in order to join the tour which visits my home town, then back home again from the other end. 1 April a very suitable date!
