It's been reported on the gen groups that 09013 is working at Newport now. (1.10.05)

Anyone know what, if anything, has replaced it at St Andrews Road?

Does anyone know what the brake van at St Andrews Rd is used for? I'm assuming that it's for propelling movements into Chittening, carrying a shunter who's using a radio? Anyone know for sure?

The reason for the brake van used to be that a Class 08/09 on its own cannot be relied on to activate track circuits.
