Westerleigh Oil terminal

Post by Pete »

Well, I spent this Sunday walking footpaths that get as close to the terminal as I can get without staging a breakdown on the motorway. I got some reasonably good pics which give an overview of the area, and it's possible to see the bridge that carried the line under the motorway.

I'll try to include them in the next update

Well.... I decided to try a policy of oldest photo first and have managed to catch up with stuff taken in Feb

I reckon the Westerleigh stuff will be up at the end of next week

Great pictures. Thanks, totally satisfied my curiosity.

Any chance of some more pictures of the track bed heading towards Mangotsfield past the terminal

This is high on my list of things to do :) Now that the wife has dropped the sprog we shall be doing some exploring using our mountain bikes and the cycle path is high on our agenda in so much as the three-year-old can ride her bike along it too :)
