DMU Coupling Codes

Post by Andrew »

Can anyone give me any information regarding the cab layout/controls of DMU's other than "Blue Square" coupling codes? I know that "Red Triangle" layout was very similar to "Blue Square" although the throttle and gear change levers were of a slightly different design, and the gear change system was different, but I have never seen any cab views of "White Circle", "Orange Star" or "Yellow Diamond".

Any information, photo links etc, gratefully received.

PS-and "off topic" people may be familiar with it already, but I stumbled across this site earlier which has given me much enjoyment http://www.davidheyscollection.com/index.htm

(And not a picture of Julia Bradbury in sight! )

Thanks, but already looked there - have you found any cab views of non-blue square units? :?
