For several weeks, cutting stabilisation work has been going on near the site of the former Sneyd Park junction between Clifton Down Tunnel and Sea Mills. The contractors are camped out under an arch of the Portway road bridge next to Sea Mills station.
This morning, the four large blocks of concrete that prevented vehicular access to the old down line formation were removed on a lorry. Wondering if this means other work is planned in the area, perhaps on the other side of the river bridge?
