St. Davids Day Special - 70013 (Sun 1st March 2009)

Post by BristleGWR »

The times are now up on uksteam for this one. http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t09/t0301a.htm (It says Saturday, although it's on the Sunday)

It's due to to be held at Parkway DL for 20 minutes ( 11.58 - 12.18 ) on the outward run.

I was hoping to get a photo of it climbing Cattybrook on the return run, but unfortunately it doesn't leave Newport until 18.16.

Hello,

Although off-region, I saw the Brit on Saturday, running through Cromwell's 1599 birthplace :).

My pics are here:-

Very Best Wishes,

Nice shots from Acton Turville, is it an easy place to get to? Was wondering about locations east of Parkway which were not in cuttings, and couldn't think of one.

It's the B4040 that crosses the line, and the next bridge to the right, not shown...this is a narrow bridge for farm animal to cross (not vehicles) and you need to walk through 2 fields to get to it.
