67 on Servern Beach Line

Post by jules »

Saw a 67 trundle over the Glos Road arches at 11:30pm last night (19 Nov). Looked like it was propelling some vehicles in the direction of Clifton Down, but it was too dark to see what. It returned about 30 minutes later ....

Anybody any idea what it was doing there?

Could there have been a 67 at each end? It might have been the RHTT train although according to my information it runs much earlier than 11:30pm.

I only caught it as it was halfway past so it's a possibility, but the vehicles didn't look quite right for that. I did think it very strange for it to be propelling vehicles though, so maybe there was another 67.

It was dark and I was in the garden of the Cat & Wheel looking up at it on the bridge, against the street lights, so I couldn't make it out all that well.

I only heard it pass by on its return.
