Bristol a cycling city ?????

Is this the same city that wanted to build a busway along the bristol to bath cycle path!!

I cannot believe how BCC twist and turn, its no wonder the transport network is a mess. They change with the time of the day

Yup, I do beleive it is!
I can't find the page now on the Beeb site but it mentioned part of the scheme was to restore a Brunel designed bridge to help connect Bristol to North Somerset. Any ideas which bridge this could be? I'm presuming it's an old rail bridge.

That bridge i would reckon is a swing bridge across the Cumberland locks, a low level one with tubular type sides if i remember correctly
