Removal of the Royal mail depot at BPW?

Went through the other day on a train from paddington, and it looked like network rail were ripping it all out/ demolishing it, anyone know what actually is happening there?

yeah they getting rid off it seeming as it doesn't really have any purpose now.

A big waste of money imo.

It's being converted to an NR staff training school isn't it?
Or at least legal consent has been given for this purpose.
At least it will stay in railway use, it is unfortunate though, that the short sited Royal Mail management feel that Road & Air haulage is the future. Typical joined up Government thinking..... :roll:

Is there any news on the removal of that grey PO box at Temple Meads?

Should we have a sweepstake on when it is finally removed?
