Severn Beach&Microsoft

Post by BaggieBird »

Hey guys, just thought i'd let you know that theres a download available at www.uktrainsim.com of an activity along the Severn Beach line for anyone who uses Microsoft Train Simulator!! Looks like it involves taking two class 20's top n tailing some virgin coaches from TM to Severn Beach. Worth a look :)

There are two Severn Beach activities on UKTS....
http://www.uktrainsim.com//filelib-info ... leid=16535
and
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=16570

As well as having MS Train Sim, you also need to have / download the Briscard (Bristol to Cardiff) route from....
http://www.chrisayoung.com/download_files.html
BrisCard

A fictional freeware MSTS add-on route
loosely based on the railway from Bristol
to Cardiff.

This fictional route is from Bristol to Cardiff. It also includes the freight only
line between Filton Abbey Wood and Avonmouth and the branch to Severn
Beach. See the map of the route. There are various single and multiple
sidings.
There are some screenshots here...

Looks more like Montpelier than any other station on the route.

I've been away from Bristol for 15 years now, so may have missed something - but is there any precedent for 20's topping and tailing to the 'Beach? :?
