Good turnout at N & B tonight to see the KING through 15 minutes "early".
Another successful weekend with 6024 on both Saturday and Sunday.
Three more trips this season, a bit easier for the King, Sundays only!

Very large crowd at N & B this morning to see the KING on the penultimate trip to Torbay this year.
Nice touch by the 6024 society[always keen to give photographers different pictures] carrying the IKB Headboard with the 200 reporting number. Superb!

Still plenty of action to come this year in our area from the PREMIER performer from the steam age on the main line.
Not forgetting the 4 day WSR gala in early October where the King will once again be "strutting his stuff"!

Could not let the final Torbay Express of the season go by without a mention.
A superb performance by 6024, 100% reliability and if last nights speed through N & B was anything to go by the footplate crew certainly went out with a bang! The preceding HST looked as though it was standing still compared to the KING which absolutely stunned the 30 or so spectators with its "express" speed through N & B.
If theres any better out there I remain to be convinced!
