I watched D1015 go through Yatton this morning at about 7:58. It looked and sounded great, a credit to the support team. The West Coast Railway maroon set of carriages certainly make a difference compared with the mix of colours that sometimes have to be used.
It's due back light engine tonight from Penzance according to the UK Steam web site, passing Bridgwater at 18:10 and BTM at 18:50.
Shame it couldn't actually be used on a revenue earning job rather than light engine.

Guess it must have been either very early or very late tonight, stood on Bleadon Hill in a cold wind for 45 minutes from 19.20 to 20.05 but no show.

Western Champion D1015 ran through with an autoballaster just as I boarded a train home.

With the sun over to the right at about 1o'clock not a great pic but would have been worse if the clouds hadnt had blocked the sun.
