Fuel train derailed at Haresfield Loop

Post by James »

Various sources are reporting that the 6B19 0510 Robeston - Westerleigh laden fuel oil train, hauled by 60093, has derailed at Haresfield Loop, between Gloucester and Standish Junction. One tanker is on its side, and police have closed several roads, including the B4008. Predictably, it's chaos on Cross Country and FGW Local services!

The trap points are most likely spring points that close automatically.
