Here's a few pics from sunny Weston. Shame that as Champion arrived so did a Bristol bound unit! Ah well....

And on leaving heading south.

On the way into Bath today we caught up with the Dartmouth Arrow at BTM. As we got off the 143 (:?), D1015 was sat on the centre road ticking over...

Image

Then shunted the stock back onto Platform 4 were it sat for a good 15mins...

Image

Prior to departure 47773 & 33025 turned up...

Image

and then D1015 departed on time in a sprightly manner!

Anyone know what time the 47 and 33 are due back through Bristol?

The Western ran more or less to time and was certainly going pretty fast along the levels past Bridgwater.

The Vintage Trains class 33 wasn't powered up. It was taken along in case of any problems with the class 47.

Kingswear and Dartmouth were packed solid, huge queues to use the ferry and everywhere else. Pubs running out of beer and food, good job I took my own!
The Red Arrows did fly over, I glimpsed them through the clouds once but that was it. Shame really, as when the train arrived it was bright sunshine but by 5pm it was overcast.
