Oakwood Signal Box

Does anyone have, or know where I might obtain, a photograph of Oakwood Signal Box at the passing loop on the Bristol to Portishead line between Tunnel 3 and Ham Green Halt.

Also any photos of Shirehampton yard circa 1940-60.

We at the D&EPG have an original photograph of one of very own Hymeks D7017 derailed on the points at Shirehampton Yard in 1961.

It also appears as back a cover photo on the excellent book Branch Lines around Avonmouth ...

For Oakwood, try Mr Rendall at Past Track Publications. If he doesn't have something, nobody will!

I'm pretty sure you can find a picture of this in "Reflections on the Portishead Branch" by Mike Vincent (good book btw).

It's out of print as I understand it, but copies do come up on eBay reasonably regularly.
