I still have a load of photos from Andy Kirkham, Simon Whittingham, Mike Radford, John Rawlings etc to put up, not to mention several hundreds of my own. As such, I'm thinking of making it live sooner rather than later, even though it won't be finished as much as I'd have liked it to be.
To be honest my health is actually starting to suffer. I go to bed at about 1am every night after editing for as many hours as family life will allow, and then can't sleep because I'm replaying events in my head. I kid you not, I 'edit' in my sleep! I tell myself I'm dreaming, but I keep doing it. I mean, that's not too bad, but previously I dreamed of nuns with machine guns and as much as I like trains, they just don't compare. heh! (oh well, I laughed....
I've had a ton of help of late from Ian Tiley, which has speeded things up immensely (Thanks Ian, you've been a real star!!), but I still feel like it could be months for the new website to go live rather than weeks if I wait to get everything up, so in some ways, why wait? The website has always been growing from day one, the new one will be the same, so you may as well watch it grow rather than just Ian and I!
So, if you've read this far..........
A website so unfinished it doesn't even have an introductory page yet:
http://bristol-rail.co.uk/wiki/index.ph ... =Main_Page
It's not going to replace the original site just yet, I'm still tinkering too much for that, but it's now open for you all to have a look at.
Anyone who doesn't like it better keep that info to themselves unless they want me to have a nervous breakdown!
