From the Bristol Evening Post.
SECOND LANDSLIDE FOR TRAIN PASSENGERS
Train passengers faced delays to their journeys after a second landslide on the track between Bristol Parkway and Swindon.
The bank at Alderton, in South Gloucestershire, gave way yesterday, less than a week after a landslide at Chipping Sodbury.
A spokesman for First Great Western today said passengers heading for London Paddington faced reduced speed limits and some trains were being re-routed.
Network Rail said it had checked the landslide and engineers had undertaken minor works to stabilise the slippage.
A 40mph speed limit was imposed.
