This is the original forum of the Bristol Railway Archive that existed between 2003 and 2013. I finally rescued it after it seemed unrecoverable after a large crash. I have made it available for viewing. It is locked, all posts to the new version please!
Use this forum to talk about the railways in and around Bristol, or for any off-topic stuff you want to share. Also request photos and information that you are missing.
Seeing that this forum is so quiet as of late I thought that this would be the best time to wish all of you a very merry christmas and a happy new year.
Also that the trains keep running and whatever go"s along the rails!
ps I have put the last two parts of the Cheddar tale on.
Hi tugboatcharly2
A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
Not to many fryup's on the shovel mate.
That reminds me of when I was on the Severn Beach run, went to cafe on number 9 platform at BTM for hot water for tea can got back on the engine gave the can a swing and caught the handbrake with it.
By the time I had cleaned up the mess and was going to get more water we got the right-away, my driver was not a happy bunny
