Not The Blue Pullman

Post by jules »

Well guys. I've been diverted onto a packed train (430+) with The Blue Pullman on Sat Dec 1st and will be working Colchester - Norwich - York - Skipton - Hellifield. Helping out another charter operator, nice guys that we are!

Meanwhile back in Bris, we've hired another set of stock to run our Bristol - York Charter - I won't say too much because the deal is still being done, but if you want to see something a bit different (if it all works out at the last minute), it's 06:32 off of TM and my colleagues should be waking up Lockleaze with our a pair of 47's at about 06:40. (They'd better be!)

Seats are still available and I'm sure if any Bristol Railway Archive readers mention my name to Ali at the office if you fancy a day's Xmas shopping in York, the usual 10% might apply (if you are nice to her!)

See

Or if you can't make it, I'm still looking for publicity pics :D

Pretty sure i heard this go by at about 10pm, sounded like i was living in yate again back in the 80's, an engine thrashing past and the clatter of about 20 bogies over the point work Great.
