Fantastic photograph! That headboard looks really good! :lol: I remember shouting some suitable abuse at the tresspassing protestors as we went by... :lol:

Well, as you liked it, here's one at Iron Acton Station, and I was on the public side of the fence!

The platform is to the right of the 50, beyond the T&C boxes. Heavily overgrown and barely recognisable as a station. The owners of the former stationmaster's house to the left of the 50 came out and chatted for a while, surprised at the level of excitement. I was impressed by the 50 on the day, I know it had problems, but I was also down at Ashton Gate to watch it return from Portbury. It held at the signal near the old Ashton Gate platform, and was motoring by the time it reached the level crossing.

was a very good tour much enjoyed by myself and the daugter, i seem to have lost all the photos we took on the day though :cry:

What were they protesting about? Are some of the locals still narked that the railway has been reinstated?

Yes, and Network Rail had cut "their" trees down.
