FGW HST at FAW 15th Nov

Post by Rich_Eason »

Anyone know why there is FGW HST set is currently sat at Filton Abbey Wood (08:05) blocking the S.Wales to Bristol crossover with a load (15-20) Network Rail Bods scratching their heads?

Looked to see if it had derailed but could only see as far as the platform and all looked ok... :?

S Wales trains are being routed through Plat 3 around it but any traffic coming up from s.wales I would imagine is currently blocked with an HST set sat in the way.

FAW signal failure reported on SWRG at 7.45, could this be it?

More than likely by the soudns of it and the time.

The NR bods seemed to be looking all over the HST though like they'd never seen one before...which made me think more mechanical prob than signal....

Ah well made the walk in a bit more exciting.
