Images help!

I'm trying to include an image in a post but can't seem to do so. I'm trying to add it from 'My Pictures" folder but am missing a step somewhere. Can anyone give me any tips, I think I must be suffering from brain cramp!

Hi Mark, the image needs to be physically online somewhere rather than residing on your computer. Either your own personal webspace or the likes of http://www.flickr.com/ or http://fotopic.net/.

Once it's online you just use click 'Img' button and enter the url where the photo lives.

If you get really stuck you can post it to me and I can add it for you

Thank's for that, I'll look at setting up an account with one of those sites. I think I should read the FAQ's a little more closely.

Another site that doesnt require an account is Imageshack although it can be a little tempermental everynow and then...

One of the forums I belong to allows you to "attach" images to posts. Not sure if it's phpbb software though...or maybe it's the latest version or something.

Hi, Thanks for your comments. I've signed up with fotopic, it seems to be quite a popular site, so I'll give it a try. I shall try to spend some time over the weekend and upload my railway images, not all Bristol area I'm afraid. Cheers.
