73.101 will be working service trains at the Avon Valley Railway tomorrow, Saturday, 14th July. The following Tuesday, the loco will be transported to the Severn Valley Railway to assist in the restoration of the line after recent damage caused by the floods. Fortunately, the railway has recently been awarded grants totalling 75% of the 2 million pounds required to reopen the railway. <BJ>

From a quick web search it looks like 73101 is one of 3 locos that will be used to haul spoil trains between Victoria Bridge and Kinlet Sidings: one other is Cl 20 8188 from Swanage with the third TBC.
I believe as things stand 101 is likely to remain in the Midlands until the job is finished (likely to be end of this year/beginning of next) before returning to Bitton after a repaint at the SVR but I'm open to correction.
