This is the original forum of the Bristol Railway Archive that existed between 2003 and 2013. I finally rescued it after it seemed unrecoverable after a large crash. I have made it available for viewing. It is locked, all posts to the new version please!
Use this forum to talk about the railways in and around Bristol, or for any off-topic stuff you want to share. Also request photos and information that you are missing.
p.s. you'll still have to pick me up from the station
I'm deffo out and about tomorrow.
Email me yer mobile number (I assume you have one!) and I'll text you when I have a better idea what time I can be at Nailsea. I'd assume about 1pm (ish) but I'm not sure how much north Bristol stuff I have to do yet.

I don't ...probably the only person my age not to
I was planning to go into Bristol as well as I've got some shopping to do...if I do that in the morning I could get back to Temple Meads and take the 12.55 Wessex Service, arriving at Nailsea at 1:05. Alternatively if I was coming from Taunton there's a train that gets there at 12.59.
Or you could pick me up at Temple Meads..depending where your deliveries are
Could you email me your mobile number? I can always use a payphone
I assume you have my email address as it's your board and I think I had to give one to register
If my mobile has my own number stored somewhere on it then I can't find it!
I still think I'll be in the Nailsea area around 1pm.
With a bit of luck Andrew will read this and he can send you my mobile number. Every message displays an Email icon at the foot of it and he can contact you that way.
If not today, then I'm Nailsea way at least once a week so we can do it another time.
