Comes in via Hants and Berks line to Westbury, then Bradford upon Avon to Bath and then Bristol Temple Meads. Goes out via Bath and Chippenham and 6024 leaves the train at Didcot.

Took some shots of 6024 King Edward I at Temple Meads, and will be posting them during the day. About 50 minutes after it arrived, the whole train headed out towards the Bath Road Bridge, where was it being serviced?

Standing at one of the other platforms was a Class 47 with a couple of faded blue vans and some garish FGW coaches. Where were they being taken?

Popped down to watch the King between Bath and Saltford...

Got there nice and early enjoying the hot sunshine watching the trains go by...time came round for the King to turn up...and the heavens opened so a lot of rain and not very clear picture

Going to see if there is anything else I can salvage out of the shots I got...grrrrr :x

Here's mine from between Bath and Saltford, as Rich said it was a little damp.

Have posted three shots from Temple Meads at lunchtime. Still haven't figured out what the Class 47 was doing there today. Once IE stops throwing toys, blankets and food out of the pram I will attempt to upload my shots.

Rich where did you take the side on shot?

It was taken along the A4 coming out of Saltford, I "think" its Imperials Rugby Ground...

Your shots at Sydney Gardens look a little damp to say the least. Some nice shots though :D and a good turn out even with the weather.

Ten minutes before the train arrived the heavens opened up. I took a shot of an HST and there were no umbrellas, macs, or cagoules in sight. It was very very wet, and thankfully a kind woman and her husband let me share an umbrella!

I retreated and stood in some bushes with my camera and started to feel a little concious about the fact that I might have looked a bit "dodgy".

Lets hope the weather improves for the 2Halls.....

Thanks for posting that video, where was the footbridge? I couldn't believe how unlucky I was with the weather in the afternoon. The video is really very clear, compared to some links elsewhere.

It's a road bridge, at Bellotts Road.
Immediately to the west is the old S&D bridge which crossed the GWR line at this point.
