This is the original forum of the Bristol Railway Archive that existed between 2003 and 2013. I finally rescued it after it seemed unrecoverable after a large crash. I have made it available for viewing. It is locked, all posts to the new version please!
Vid of DoG at Patchway. Hazy, into sun and very quiet approach. Not too pleased with the effort, as first time I've seen her since on the blocks at Bridgnorth in mid 70's when you'd never have thought she would run again. Just gives you hope for all those that are working hard to get other great engines back on the tracks.
I know what you about the light, was very bight and hazy.
DOG was moving comming down the hill at Pilning, however not so much of a show with the steam as you sometimes see with some of runs. Still a good sight for a Sunday morning....

How does she feel about being famous?
As long as she's paid in Easter eggs she won't mind.
I took a few today, but had Eleanor bouncing around on my shoulders so was waving the camera around one-handed! (hence why I didn't bother taking a vid!)
