Beta of Simsig Bristol signalling simulator released

Post by TheLastMinute »

A new signalling simulator covering the entire area of Bristol panel has just been released in Beta form û and its best feature is that itÆs free! Very much worth a look û especially those who get regularly curse Bristol Panel every time they come up against a red!

SimSig is so good that Railtrack, as they were then, bought an enhanced version of Didcot (Swindon B IECC) for use as signaller training. The following are also aviable: KingÆs Cross, North London Line, Swindon, Southampton, Stafford, Waterloo, Liverpool Street, Didcot & Westbury û all free!

To download, go to www.simsig.co.uk. To get the Bristol beta, go on to the Forum and then Bristol PSB board. Open the Beta available! thead to find a link to the download. Just remember that it is a beta and therefore does have bugs in it!

I had a go at this last night (having played the Westbury version many, many times)... what can I say.. wow 8)

Great fun. I don't think the real railway has quite as many trains waiting at red signals at Patchway as I seem to manage though.. :P
