If anyone's out there with a video camera (Pete?) then PLEASE go to Cattybrook Works footbridge! The sun will be behind you, there's a view for miles along the line, 5051 will be climbing...what more do you want? I'd go myself if it didn't cost so much to get there and i could be sure of getting my bike on board...damn trains!

I'm stuck inside all day today! Normally I'm out delivering Tues & Thurs. This week it's Mon, Wed & Fri.

(lovely day yesterday with hail the size of golf balls and the wind making the van go where I didn't want it to go!)

Sodbury Box:

From Yate to Cattybrook.

Coming out of Yate take the B4059 as far as the junction with the A38, turn left and head towards Bristol. Just before the road arcs left and goes under the motorway is a right turn for Almondsbury. Take that, go past the garden centre, up the hill and you'll come to a great brick wall that says Cattybrook Brick Works on it. Go over the railway and immediately look out for Ash Lane on your right. Drive to the bottom of that and the bridge is in front of you.

O.K. so I have some footage from Cattybrook Bridge - excellent venue - my thanks to James and Pete. Cold and bright but rewarding. Some stills too !
So being a newbie - how do I upload them ?
Answers on a post card please - just kidding :D
