Maroon Mark Two Coaching stock at BTM today

Post by mow »

Whilst I was on way over to Bath about 09.30, I noticed some Maroon Mark 2 coaches didn't notice the loco going into Temple Meads - any ideas what this train was and where it was going?

Think this was an Eden Explorer with 67005 on the front.

Nothing worth seeing anyway...

It re-appeared at Temple Meads at 19.20. I would have liked to have got a photo, but I was working 1M32 back to Birmingham which was right behind it, so didn't have time.
Steam haulage would have been nice, but the mark 2's in resplendent maroon livery more than made up for the fact that it was 67-hauled.
I guess I'm showing my age now.....
