Hi,
You've asked if anyone can date the photo at http://www.bristol-rail.co.uk/images/templemeads15.jpg .
This one looks identical to the photo 12 in the book Steam Around Bristol by Rex O. Coffin, publish by OPC in 1974 (ISBN 0902888 48 X). In the book it's dated as 10th July 1961.
Cheers, Martyn
Steam photo information
Cheers Martyn.
I actually had this pointed out to me earlier this week via email, but haven't had the time to change the TM page yet. I shall be deleting it on the next update. Pity really, it's one of my favourite pictures on the website
I know I've got anpther pic somewhere that also has the word 'coffin' on the back. Do any others on the website look familiar?

I've been trying to track Mr Coffin down with no luck so far. I'm hoping he may have some unpublished photos of the Digby Wyatt/Brunel Trainshed (my love). If he still exists he may agree to the photos being published on the site.madhattie wrote:Cheers Martyn.
