Just started to rain as it approached. The loco was coasting, but the driver obligingly revved up just for us on the bridge!

Great stuff!
Off topic...
Since the demise of Fotopic and changes made to Flickr for embedding images into forums, there is a small work around to still be able to get them to show in forums...
On the photo page, left of the image is a small 'Actions' Drop down menu. Click the arrow to the right of the Twitter icon...
Click 'Grab the HTML Code....'
Select the image size you wish to use - 'Small, Medium, Large'
Copy the code from the box and paste it into your forum post on Bristol Railway Archive.
Once pasted you need to remove all the code except for the http://farm7.static.....image.jpg.
e.g. the highlighted is the bit you want to keep...the rest gets deleted.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rich_eason/5917800197/" title="55022 'Royal Scots Grey', Claverham Drove, Yatton, Bristol by Richard Eason, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6011/591 ... 8f3d_b.jpg" width="1024" height="680" alt="55022 'Royal Scots Grey', Claverham Drove, Yatton, Bristol"></a>
Highlight the 'http://farm7.static.....image.jpg' and click the Img button...
and thats it!
