Garter Blue A4 at Bristol and Bath May 26th
An opportunity to see A4 Pacific Bittern in LNER Garter Blue on Thursday running with The Cathedrals Express. The train appears to be running along the main line from Reading rather than the route up the Avon Valley.

Re: cathedrals express
I saw it at Chippenham but I won't be posting any record - just before the station the fireman indulged in a bout of firing, and the strong west wind at the time meant that most of my video shows a cloud of brownish-grey smoke with something blue moving behind it.chippy wrote:outward & return.....

Off topic, but in its "proper" guise of 60019 I had my one and only ride behind an A4 in BR revenue earning service, on a Glasgow to Aberdeen service back in the summer of 1966
