You are absolutely correct. Everything on the right was destroyed and it is now Castle Park.

SUPERB Yes it is Bristol bridge and i have ridden on the no 9 tram which when over the bridge turned into Redclife street the other tram no"s which went over the bridge were no 1 Westbury -on -trym to Brislington,NO 84 Hotwells to Brislington. There were others but i dont remember their no"s There was a no 8 which shared the route through Bedminster as far as the London inn then they took routes either to PARSON ST; OR Ashton gate on reverse journeys they went to Hanham or Kingswood.Whops it was the no 9 which was the other tram that shared with the no8
why I remember those facts it was a no 9or 8 which took me to my nans and a shilling for the money box era 1938. :lol:
