Some video at Newton St. Loe & Keynsham. Did not enjoy waiting in a field for almost 2 hours, often accompanied by heavy rain!
But your dedication has to be admired! :D

my camera was not with me that day, but it was on hand on this day, although no passenger or freight trains were involved:

Obviously another case of "can't quite decide which way to go" :D

The most impressive version of such an event I ever saw was at Shrewsbury Severn Tunnel Junction, where ...

I read the report and have to say I didn't adopt the slightly negative approach that you obviously did! Cool

It's just the way they worded it: "the track is being inspected to see how much work would be needed" ...

The article put across the impression that ...

What do they expect is going to ...

Are we on for tonight?

I can probably make it, but I'm 50/50 to be honest if others can't attend, as I now have a doctor's appointment first thing in the morning.

Probably best not to turn up smelling of Bristol Beer Factory's finest ... :D

Let me know via here ...

Well, Robin pointed out to me that I'd completely missed this thread when it was going on back in 2010, but I don't think it's too late to put my 2p worth in 3 years later

Those funny little Bristol single deckers with the rounded roof and split windscreens with the door at the front - we used to call them "Spaceships" when I was a kid. Only other routes they ...
