Passing through Bristol on their way to oblivion (aka Newport Docks), this could well be the final train of MK1 EMUs on their last journey. I expect the consist to include unique Southern-liveried 4-VEP 3514...the very unit I rode in on the Sussex Slammer tour, which was the last time I travelled on a MK1 unit.

Times from SWRG, this is expected to be 57-hauled.

Will it really sit in Pilning loop for the best part of an hour? I'd love to go to Pilning but I don't fancy overnighting there...why is that station still considered open? There's only 2 trains a day!

3514 has been granted a stay of execution:

57604 hauls 4-CIGs 1805, 1866 (the other 2 units on the Sussex Slammer :( ), and 4-VEP 3568.

I wish they'd run these trains just that little bit earlier, or that little bit later! I really want a pic!
