The Bristol Railway Archive

As a couple of our members have already found out, a week ago I opened a Flickr account and have been uploading a number of my better photographs from the 1960s.

I use the term "better" in its loosest sense - the Kodak Instamatic did have its considerable limitiations.....

If anybody is interested in taking a look, my Flickr username is Robin Summerhill. Quite a few more should go up in the next few weeks, as I've not quite completed album 2 yet, and there are three more to go!

Some really interesting photos there, Robin. It seems you followed steam both locally and around the country as it steadily declined. We may well have stood next to each other at Normanton, Bath Road and the Isle of Wight ! Thanks for posting them and I look forward to future instalments.
