Britannia & Tornado on 24th November 2012

I note that next Saturday Britannia will be hauling The Yuletide Borderer to Shewsbury, leaving Bristol TM at 9.05. This is great for me because it means the train will pass my drum at Ashley Down en route to Patchway & Severn Tunnel Jc..
Tornado is hauling The Cathedrals Express from Paddington, also to Shrewsbury, passing through Patchway at 11.21.
Here's hoping they both run, with so many cancellations this year.

A question mark hangs over this tour. It may run but with which loco? <BJ>
From the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust: ''Subject to confirmation of final details within the next 24 hours, Peppercorn A1 60163 Tornado will be moved to Didcot Railway Centre on Sunday 25th November 2012 in order to allow Covenantors a first opportunity to see the locomotive in her new livery''.

Hmm, pity. But if it's not available I'd like to see Braunton, I haven't seen it this year.

Neither has anyone else. It's still at the East Lancs Railway.
'Work in progress' as they say at Rolls-Royce. <BJ>

Yes, this is very disappointing. Also, I think I heard on TV that trains from Paddington to Cardiff via Bristol Parkway are being diverted via BTM, due to flooding at Chipping Sodbury. Presumably this would include Tornado since it would be using that route, at least partly?

I can see it steaming from my window, presumably at Barton Hill, waiting to travel into BTM. Still no firm news about whether or not Tornado might be diverted due to the flooding between Swindon & Bristol Parkway.
