Remembrance Day

Post by the green mile »

On Friday morning November 9th, the Railway Mission Chaplain will be conducting a short memorial service at Temple Meads starting at 1050 in the Avenue alongside Bonaparte's on platform 3.

Last year was very disappointing because the driver of the 1100 Bristol - Manchester turned up at 1050 to start the engines of the Voyager on this platform and the whole service was drowned out by noise. I have requested an ex-colleague to negotiate for this service to be replatformed.

Anyone is welcome to attend.
