Afternoon everyone,

Can anybody tell me which two snowploughs were allocated to Bath Road in the 1980s?

Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

Regrettably not, even though I walked past them on almost a daily basis. When bad weather was forecast, it was usually arranged by the TME to give them a quick service then take them 'round the block' for a bit of a run just in case they were needed. They were definitely used in that bad winter of 81.

Thanks anyway. I just have it in my mind that they were the two which are now at Peterborough, 965232 and 965233...

That's interesting. I always assumed they were the ones which ended up at Barton Hill, or did they come from Canton? I haven't been past Canton for many years so there might still be a pair there. Have ploughs been rotated around the system for overhaul?

Suggestion - why not try the guys who publish the Traction and Stock Records in Railway Magazine.
