From the brief glimpse I have seen - superb. Need an evening to watch in full.

All I've watched so far is the London Termini in the 50s and 60s, but one thing struck me as odd, and that was the diversion of WR services to Marylebone in 1967 - I don't remember this at all.

I just wondered how such services would regain the GWR main line out of London, without reversing at Ruislip and then using the Greenford to West Ealing line.

Initially I thought it might have been just the GWR line trains to Birmingham - these could happily regain WR metals at Ruislip and just carry on, but not the others.

I always thought that Kensington Olympia was the "usual" alternative station when Paddington was closed.

Can anybody else shed some light on this?
