Britannia ran out of steam at Warminster, according to Network Rail control. Problems with injectors and a visit from the fire brigade to provide much-needed water to prevent an explosion, allegedly.

There is another question going around the Traincrew that worked it. Who turned on the ashpan sprinkler and failed to turn it off. Although the fireman who worked it to Bath siad that it shouldnt have used all the water up.

What happened?? The A4 doesn't look particularly "lively"!!
Edited to add - I've just looked at Chippy's caption on his photograph .... ran out of coal. That's not the first time thats happened to an A4 in this neck of the woods
