On the down platform at Yatton opening soon will be a facility to take a cup of tea or cofffee etc; This will be run by a manager and persons with learning difficulties. They have great plans for it .It will be hopefully used by people using the strawberry line for refreshments. I will put any information that I get and answer any questions if I can.

I wish them all the best - another place for a cuppa, and helping others into the bargain.

It will be a while before I get a chance to sample directly, how about a test / review??

Yep! All the best to them. I hope it's a success. The railway needs things like this ....

Hi all, just to let you know that the cafe at Yatton Station is now open, following a complete refurbishment funded by SWRDA, Railway Heritage Trust, local organisations and lots of fundraising. At the moment we are doing breakfasts and lunches, and of course tea, coffee etc. See http://www.strawberrylinecafe.co.uk/ for details - hope to see you there, and let us know what you think!
