Loco hauled FGW and ATW services

I may be going the Shrewsbury for the day on Saturday(25th) and, if possible, I'd like to take the chance to travel on the FGW Class 57/67 loco hauled services and the Arriva class 57 loco hauled services.

I've misplaced my list of the timings of the FGW services. Can anybody tell me which trains heading from Temple Meads to Newport at around 7:30 am to 9:30 am on Saturday will be loco hauled?

Also, are all Cardiff Central to Holyhead trains the loco hauled ones (seem to be every 2 hours) or are there some units mixed in? If the latter does anybody know the times of the northbound loco hauled trains from Newport on Saturday morning?

Thanks,

Tim

Don't know if this is in time for you............

See here http://www.bristol-rail.co.uk/forum/vie ... php?t=1941 for times. Both services are now 67 hauled.

According to tauntontrains.co.uk, the Paignton service is due to go back to unit operation at the beginning of October.

Don't know about the Holyhead services, sorry.

Thanks for that. Looks as though we are going to be too early for the 67s to cross the border into Wales.

Arriva Trains loco hauled runs Mon Fri only from Holyhead to Cardiff in the morning and returns in the afternoon. All other services are units.

Drat, but thank you. No loco hauled services for me then.
