40 years ago this wonderful ship came back to her birthplace, the actual dock she was built in! I wonder just how many people had the emotional experience of watching on that day......
I am an ex-pat Bristolian, so I've been keeping an eye on her gradual re-birth. I've managed a few visits, No, make that pilgrimages! The last one was quite recent, and I was still struck by her beauty. I really like the water-line water, and standing under her bow is still awe-inspiring....
