Tytherington line
Tytherington line
went up to the quarry this morning and the lines look like thay have had some recent use the loading line being quite clean and shiney, but down at iron acton they are rusty as hell have there been any trains lately or do the quarry have a loco hidden up there?

The line to Tytherington is still open to traffic so the police would ensure they were adequately protected before going on the line. There was a T2T on for a couple of days to protect them.Robin Summerhill wrote:Just what was it closed to, I wondered
While there is no regular traffic on the branch at the moment the weed killer was booked to go down there a few weeks ago. Whether it did or not I can't say as I wasn't working that shift.
